Treat the display as architecture.

A specifier’s guide to corporate LED video walls: fine pitch, mounting flatness, daylight, front service and content strategy.

Nano P0.9–P1.8 is the usual starting family for close-view corporate spaces, with mounting tolerance and content commissioning treated as part of the display.

01

The wall becomes a finish

In a lobby or boardroom, visitors stand close and have time to inspect. Uneven black levels, visible seams and excessive brightness become part of the interior. Fine pitch helps, but factory calibration and a flat mounting plane are equally visible.

Coordinate the active canvas, trim, ventilation, control location and service route with the architect before the joinery package closes.

02

Daylight is a room condition, not a product feature

Measure the display face through the day. West glass can create a radically different brief at 15:00 than at 09:00. Use an ambient sensor and content presets rather than operating at one fixed brightness.

If the solar load is extreme, glazing treatment may improve the entire space more effectively than adding thousands of nits.

03

Content is an operating cost

A panoramic architectural wall cannot live on stretched presentation slides. Establish a content grammar, native templates and ownership for updates before launch. Calm, spatial work usually makes the room feel more valuable than a permanent corporate showreel.

Questions before specification

The useful answers.

How close can viewers stand to a corporate LED wall?

That depends on pitch. P1.25 begins to merge at roughly 2.5 metres for normal viewing, while COB surfaces remain physically robust at touching distance.

Can an LED wall be completely seamless?

There are no bezels, but cabinet alignment and calibration still matter. A measured mounting frame and careful commissioning make the joins visually disappear.

How is a corporate LED wall maintained?

Front-service systems allow modules, power supplies and receiving cards to be removed from the room side without a rear access corridor.
